Responsibility asks, “What has God given me to do?”

Christians spend a lot of time trying to discover the will of God.

There are things in our lives we genuinely want God to change.  So we pray about them, repent of them, and promise ourselves we aren't going back.

There are prayers we pray believing God is going to say yes.

James 3:13–18

"Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly." — James 3:1 (NLT)

"My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?" — James 2:1 (NLT)

"But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior." — Philippians 3:20 (NLT)

"Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." — James 1:19 (NLT)

I read this paragraph from Sifted by Wayne Cordeiro and wondered why no one told me this years ago. 

As a leader, I have discovered that no matter who you are, where you are, or what you are doing - you are leading.
